It&#8217;s a no nonsense spot. Don&#8217;t expect some full service restaurant. They do a great job at the burger. In any place other than LA, where amazing smash burgers abound, this burger could be king. But, despite an amazing bun, it just didn&#8217;t hit with the right amount of juice to claim a spot at the top of my faves list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udf54 The Food:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>What We Ordered:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Oklahoma Burger (Double):<\/strong> <code>Surprised me by not being much different than the regular. Basically just added grilled onions, which were solid.<\/code> I just don&#8217;t get adding a whole menu item for this.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Burger (Double): <\/strong>Great King&#8217;s Hawaiian bun. <code>Good mix of toppings (great pickles), but using ketchup is a miss, imho. Not juicy enough<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hand Cut Fries:<\/strong> <code>Solid skinny fries. So, high marks for using a great bun, but I can&#8217;t give a 5 if you&#8217;re not making it yourself or sourcing locally.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Patty Moistness (15%)<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">2<\/td><td>This is where the wheels came close to falling off. They committed the cardinal sin of RUNNING OUT OF SECRET SAUCE. As is, I&#8217;m sure she ate it, but I doubt she wrote home about it.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83d\uded1 The Quirks:<\/strong><br>They serve the burger with ketchup by default. In a world of great burger sauces, I don&#8217;t get this (I&#8217;m looking at you, too, Burgers Never Say Die).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udfc6 The Verdict:<\/strong><br>It&#8217;s definitely a solid burger. I&#8217;d happily eat it again. But, the problem is LA is a burger town and competition is fierce. Would I pick this spot over all the other options? Nah. But, if I were in the vicinity, I&#8217;d sneak myself a burger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udcf8 Photo
